JTaranaki Jewellery was founded in 2015 by Jacob Taranaki after completing his Level 5 Diploma at the Peter Minturn Gold Smithing School. Jacob chose this school due to its traditional teaching methods and strong emphasis on hand making.
Together with his wife Charley, their missions is to provide cutting-edge manufacturing and design in every piece that they create. This passionate team are determined to keep making jewellery here in Australia with a strong emphasis on upholding century-old techniques that are quickly being replaced by technology and fast fashion.

JTaranaki Jewellery was born out of a passion for beautiful hand made objects, a natural appreciation for the hours poured into design and a desire to create art with jewellery.
Each piece is 100% hand made and designed locally in Newcastle, NSW by Jacob Taranaki himself resulting in a personal connection to each creation and customer. We aim to create jewellery that is original, stylish and timeless with evident craftsmanship throughout.
